Spain: 2007 Interactive Direct Marketing Study

October 2007- Spanish advertisers employ interactive direct marketing more and more in their campaigns, according to 2007 Interactive and Direct Marketing Study. This study concludes that 75.8% of consulted companies make 13 % more interactive and direct marketing activities than in 2006.

According to this report, made by Interactive Direct Marketing Agencies (AGEMDI-FECEMD) and the Advertisers Association (AEA), 70.6% of advertisers use direct marketing and 60.7% interactive marketing.

Traditional mail is still the most common means used (82.5% companies say they have used it), although it is necessary to say that there is growth in interactive means in companies that already used by 78% of companies. Telemarketing and advertising with direct response employ them in a 52% in both cases.

The study has been made of 211 advertisers selected among the first 1000 Spanish advertisers according to the rank of investment of InfoAdex.. They have been asked about their investment in these disciplines, about the results they derive from these means, and about their working methods.
